Hey, I’m Rob. My wife and son mean everything to me, and a lot of our time together is spent traveling. When we go somewhere new, we don’t just pass through—we get into it. The food, the people, the small things that make a place feel real.
We’ve taken surfing lessons in Waikiki, explored caves on a junk boat in Halong Bay, and ended up in places I probably never would’ve found on my own. Most of that is thanks to my wife—she’s an incredible planner.
I love watching my son experience new places and connect with people along the way. Those are usually the moments that stay with you the longest.
That way of experiencing things carries into how I photograph weddings. I’m usually paying attention to what’s already happening rather than trying to shape it into something else.
Some moments need direction, but most don’t. Knowing when to step in and when to step back is what keeps the day feeling natural.
Every wedding moves differently, and I try to photograph it in a way that feels honest to how it unfolded.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can stay fully present with every couple. If you’re planning a wedding in Brooklyn, NY or New Jersey and want photography that feels natural, I’d love to hear more about what you’re putting together
If you’re planning a wedding here, I’d love to hear what you’re thinking.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can keep things personal and stay present with every couple—so making sure we’re a good fit really matters.
